Diane L. Schrader, age 73, passed away on August 22, 2025. Born on November 3, 1951, Diane was a cherished resident of Binghamton, New York. She was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Wilda Pickering, and her beloved husband, Edward Schrader.
Diane is survived by her son, Matthew Schrader; her brothers, Phillip Pickering and Timothy & Olivia Pickering; and her sister, Sadie L. and Ed Hawley. She leaves behind special friends, Debbie & Larry Eaton and Juanita & Wayne Morgan, as well as several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her.
A retired Certified Nursing Assistant from Willow Point Nursing Home, Diane was also a lover of animals, gardening, and going to the gym. Her dedication to her community was evident through her proud membership in the First Baptist Church of Port Crane.
The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church of Port Crane, located at 38 Canal Street, Port Crane, NY, on Friday, August 29, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, with a Memorial Service to follow at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place in the Port Crane Cemetery.
