He gave generously of his time as superintendent of Sunday school and maintaining & caring for the church and its grounds. Floyd retired after 30 years of service at IBM Glendale as a Mechanical Engineer where he helped pioneer electronic printing technology and earned multiple patents. Floyd designed and built both the homes he lived in. First the one on Dimmock Hill Rd where the family grew up and later the 2nd home on Treadwell Rd he shared with Betty. He enjoyed gardening, golfing, collecting coins, camping with family and friends and traveling especially to visit out of town family members. He kept in touch with a group of friends from his Conklin school days, participated in Army reunions and his friends at IBM. A special thank you to his devoted caregivers, especially Dawn who not only took care of him and Betty for 10+ years but also coordinated his care with his doctors and other caregivers.
