Trying to encapsulate the man my father was has been almost as difficult as losing him. He was a caring, kind, empathetic man who appreciated nature, his family, his work, and the beauty of the world around him. His motivation to get up everyday was fueled by his love of his wife and daughter, and keeping up the house he had made a home for us. He enjoyed his work at Electro Form, having been there almost 46 years, and was hoping to work up until retirement. If he wasn't there, he was working around the house, on one of his many pet projects, or helping family or a friend with their own home improvement. He was always the first to help, and never asked for anything in return. The spirit of my father is imbued in everything around us in our home. Every corner shows us something he worked on, or repaired, or took special care of. To me, the best way to preserve and honor his memory comes with the upkeep of the little piece of paradise he carved out for my mother and I.
