Joyce "Teri" Jacobs, 73, of Port Crane, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 4, 2025. She was born on May 23, 1952, and was a cherished, devoted, and kind-hearted wife and mother who touched the lives of many.
Teri was a dedicated homemaker who truly loved spending time with her family. From personalized gifts, to thoughtful cards, small notes of encouragement, and making sure everyone had more than enough was her love language. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Wayne C. Jacobs, Sr., her children Shay Bill (Nate), Wayne C. Jacobs, Jr. (Sandra), and Felecia Wagstaff (Eric), and her beloved grandchildren: Chelsea Jacobs, Shawn Kennedy, Jr., Kalaeb Wagstaff, and Nasha Bill. She is also survived by her sisters, Donna Edwards and Sharon Wagner, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her fur babies Kuma, Maddie, and Mila were very dear to her heart.
Teri was an animal lover who never encountered an animal she didn't love. She donated to many charities and organizations that benefited animals and people in need. She was always giving to everyone she loved, leaving a legacy of generosity and compassion.
Teri was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Gladys Haverly. Her memory will be cherished by all who knew her.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025 at 11am at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY.
