Michael T. Rose

Michael T. Rose, 82, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday April 14, 2025. He was born to the late Ralph and Ida Rose in Utica, NY and is also predeceased by his wife Ruth Mary (Davis) Rose and his brother Peter Rose.

He is survived by his son Michael P. Rose and Teenya Shrauger; his grandchildren Shelby Holiday Rose, Avery Noelle Rose, as well as Skylar Shrauger & Tiffani Rezucha and Gabe & Graci Shrauger; great grandchildren Ava, Lincoln and Jack Shrauger; brother James & Alice Rose, sister Sharon Rose; sister-in-law Linda Rose; several nieces and nephews and many Davis family members.

Michael was a proud US Navy Veteran who loved his career as a truck driver for Chrysler Corporation. He was an avid reader and a Casino addict. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the time he spent with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson on Thursday April 24, 2025 from 4-6pm. A Celebration of Michael’s Life will be announced at a later date. We would like to send a special thank you Ryan Little, NP and to all of his UHS providers for the exceptional care he received.
