

Sabatino DiMascio passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2013. He was predeceased by his wife, Anselma DiMascio; mother and father, Filomena and Antonio DiMascio; infant daughter, Filomena DiMascio; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Giovina and Giovani Mariani; sisters and brothers-in-law, Finella and Mimilo Martinichio; Richetta and Aquilino Moscatello; Antonio DeFelice; brothers and sister-in-law, Pantalone DiMascio, Luigi and Rachela DiMascio; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Alberto and Ninfa Mariani; Amalia and Silvino Feleisimo; Elena and Tomaso Pantalone; Armando and Genovefa Mariani. He is survived by his son, Antonio DiMascio, Binghamton; sisters, Nicoletta Storto, Italy; Concetta DiFelice, Italy; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Camilo and Roseta DeRitis, Italy; many nieces, nephews and cousins in Italy and the United States; close friends, Guiseppe and Angelina DeVincentis; Linda DeVincentis; Norena and Angelo DeVincentiis; Aurora and John Menucci; Yolanda D’Angelo; Maria and Valentino Tomasetti, all of Binghamton. Sabatino was an Italian Army Veteran of WW II and a retired employee of the City of Binghamton. He also worked for Jack DeNinis Construction Company. He was a member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church and a former member of the Men’s Abruzzee Social Club.
Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 8:45 AM at the James V. DeMarco & Son Funeral Home, 737 Chenango Street, Port Dickinson, NY and continue in St. Mary of the Assumption Church at 9:30 AM where a Funeral Mass will be offered. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to call at the DeMarco & Son Funeral Home Wednesday from 5 – 8 PM. The family wishes to thank the staff at Willow Point Nursing Home South 2 and memorial 3 at Binghamton General Hospital for loving care.
