OUAQUAGA - Shirley V. Kelsey of Ouaquaga, 89, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 7, 1931 in Burnwood, PA. to the late Donald & Josephine A. (Avery) Wheeler, in addition to her parents she was also predeceased by her husband

Earl V. Kelsey in 2006 and 2 brothers, Gerald & Donley Wheeler and 1 sister, Arlyn Y. Cronan. Shirley is survived by her loving children, Sherry Kelsey-Braungard, John Kelsey, Robert Kelsey, Ann & Calvin Vining,

James R. Kelsey and Bobbie Jo & Mark KelseyCreamer, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, her dear sister and brother-in-law, JoAnn & John Warner, as well as, several nieces & nephews, and many “adopted” children over the years that called her Mom. Shirley’s life revolved around her children and caring for others. She provided Family Care in her home for over 30 years. She loved Flowers, cooking, music, her beloved pets and, of course, Elvis. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020, 2:00pm, at the Wm. R. Chase & Son Funeral Home 737 Chenango St. Port Dickinson, NY 13901. Graveside Service will be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 at 2:30 pm at Knox Cemetery in Ouaquaga. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday December 28, 2020 from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
