Vincent is survived by his wife of 68 years, Carol Ann Pettinato (formerly Evans), both originally from Carbondale, PA.
Vincent is also survived by his children, Vincent Jeffrey and wife Leslie Pettinato, his 4 sons (Christopher, John, Jason, Ryan), daughters-in-law and a great-grandchild. Lucinda Ann Wasielewski and husband Joseph, their 3 children (Darren, Jenna, Monica), son-in-law and 4 great-grandchildren. And son Timothy Joseph Pettinato.
Sadly, Vincent and Carol lost their son Mark Bradford Pettinato last November, and Mark is survived by his daughter, Angelina and her husband and his children.
Vincent's parents, Vincent and Evelyn Pettinato of Carbondale, PA, predeceased him. The family shared many memories that grew from a family of 4 siblings, (Carolyn, Eva Marie, Kathleen and James) and their families.
Vincent moved his family to Binghamton, NY in the early 1960's and entered the vending business. He eventually moved into Operations Manager for ARA Services in Binghamton, NY. Vincent and Carol became owners of Williams - Doors & Hardware, serving the Commercial Door Industry for many years before retiring. The business was originally in Chenango Bridge, NY and moved to Vestal, NY in year 2000. Vincent was also a member of Nimmonsburg Rotary.
Vincent enjoyed many visits with family and friends. Vincent and Carol were known as 'road warriors' because Vincent wouldn't hesitate to drive many hours to be with their great-grandchildren. 'Grandpa Vince' was always delighted to sing a cute song, with some of the tunes, to be purposeful in sharing and teaching life's many lessons. He would gather the children around to make applesauce, meatballs, crispelle, or some other fun delicacies the kids could help with. Family and traditions that brought families together, and it mostly revolved around great food, was a consistent theme in Vincent's heart.
While there are sad hearts in this moment, the same hearts are joy-filled that Vincent is with our Lord and Savior. He will be missed!
