Despina I. Bacalakis, age 87, of Stony Brook, New York passed away on June 8, 2022. Despina was born May 5, 1935 in New York, New York.

Beloved wife of the late James K. Loving mother of Karen Spanos and her husband Leonidas and

Theodore J. (Donna Damboise). Cherished Yia Yia of Dena and Stephen Spanos.

A visitation for Despina is planned for Sunday, June 12, 2022 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM at O. B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Hwy, Port Jefferson Station, New York 11776. Funeral Mass to be held Monday, June 13, 2022 at 10 AM at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption, 430 Sheep Pasture Road, Port Jefferson, NY 11777. Interment to follow at Washington Memorial Park, 855 Canal Rd, Mt. Sinai, New York 11766.
