Our deepest condolences to Ida’s loving family. What a beautiful soul that lived among us. We will forever remember her radiant smile, her infectious laughter and her love for life. Ida and Harold were extraordinary examples of what true friendship meant. Their love and loyalty was unmatched. Now that they have been reunited, they both will be remembered with heavy hearts and much love.

Anyone who ever knew Ida would realize the joy for life she had.

When we first moved to the US, we did not have a lot of family here. So we were happy when Ida and Harold decided to settle here as well. It was the 70's and life was simpler then. Our families started taking lots of trips together as there was no cable TV. The family car was how we all entertained ourselves. I cannot fully convey all the fun we had with Ida and Harold - traveling around exploring this new country of ours - our new home. In addition to these engaging trips, Ida also threw THE BEST parties! We always looked forward to them-she loved a good party! She made sure everyone was having as good a time as she was. 

As time passed, Ida and Harold had their own children, but we still spent holidays together - joking, laughing, eating, drinking - all the things that really mattered. She always made everyone feel welcomed. She made delicious food. She had a wicked sense of humor. Her laugh was infectious. Even through her own tragedies, she never felt sorry for herself and she always kept moving forward. There was always something to do, someone to help, somewhere to go. She knew life was there to be embraced, not avoided. She lived it to the fullest.

Our hearts are broken because she was a woman who was taken from this world too soon. But she was also a woman who did not waste time. She made the best of it. Ida would want us to make every moment count. To best honor this amazing woman, we should all do so. 

Very sad to hear of the passing of Tanty Ida. I have many fond memories growing up and spending the holidays with Tanty Ida,uncle Harold and later on Gayle. Will miss her lively personality and easy smile. Rest in peace Tanty Ida. 

The passing of my aunt Ida was, and is still shocking and heartbreaking. My deepest sympathy goes out to my aunt's daughters, Gayle and Linda, and all her family and friends. She will be missed dearly.  When I think of aunt Ida, I always remember her being the life of the party - always the perfect host.  Our family and her family were a big part of each others' lives growing up - all the memories keep flooding back. Her bubbly personality always made our times together fun and memorable.  There was always laughter. I know she is now with her beloved husband, father, and all her loved ones that have passed on  looking down knowing how much she was loved and she will never be forgotten.  

My deepest condolences to her family and friends. She will be missed. 

Ida & her late husband Hary were good friends of ours & our Tennis Group. We enjoyed many times over the years since 1988. We missed her company. May she rest in peace.

My sincerest condolences for Ida’s family and prayers are sent🙏  Her beautiful smile and laugh will be greatly missed as will her telling me ‘well you did your best’ when I would get frustrated. ❤️

The life of the party has left us. We were fortunate to walk this earth with you and will cherish all your wonderful and factual memories.
