Jeanne Ann Lande, a longtime resident of Port Jefferson Station, NY, passed away on June 25, 2025, at the age of 91. Born on December 24, 1933, in Queens, NY, Jeanne lived a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family.
She was the beloved wife of the late Oscar Lande, with whom she shared 48 wonderful years of marriage. Together, they built a beautiful life and shared many joyful moments, especially on the golf course and during their travels to visit loved ones.
Jeanne was a loving and devoted mother to Jeanne DiSanti (Michael), Karen Rivera (Juan Pain), Peter Lande, and Susan Lande. She was a cherished grandmother to Krystine Rivera, Shannon Winter (Justin), Kimberly DiSanti, and Michael DiSanti.
A big kid at heart, Jeanne found her greatest joy in spending time with her grandchildren—playing games, building snowmen, and always trying her best to win. Her competitive spirit and playful nature made her the heart of every family gathering. Though she was not fond of cooking, she deeply loved the time spent around the dinner table with her family—and she made no secret about claiming the last slice of pie for herself!
Jeanne had a passion for gardening, especially when it came to flowers, and she played the piano with beautiful grace. Her wonderful sense of humor, boundless positivity, and warm heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 2–4 PM and 7–9 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 4839 Nesconset Highway, Port Jefferson Station, NY 11776. Funeral Mass at 9:30 AM on Saturday at the Chapel at St. Charles, 200 Belle Terre Road, Port Jefferson, NY 11777. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram, NY 11727.
Jeanne’s legacy of love, laughter, and family togetherness will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
