Steven Gerard Eichler of Port Jefferson Station, NY passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on December 1, 1948, in Staten Island, NY, Steven was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures and cherished moments spent with loved ones.
He was the beloved husband of 48 years to the late Sharon Eichler, and a devoted father to Debra Trappen and her husband James. Steven was a proud and loving grandfather to Melody Trappen, who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his dear sister, Verne Martori, and his cherished nieces and nephew: Tami Moreno, Tara Conklin, and John S. Scott.
Steven retired as a draftsman from LILCO, where he dedicated many years of hard work and service. In his retirement, he found peace and fulfillment in tending to his garden, spending time outdoors, and simply enjoying the company of his family.
Interment of his ashes will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3442 Route 112, Coram, NY 11727. The date is pending at this time.
Steven will be remembered for his quiet strength, his kind heart, and the deep love he had for his family.
