Evelyn Ann Kemper

Evelyn Ann Kemper, 89 of Port Lavaca Passed away March 30, 2014. She was born February 28, 1925 in Six Mile, TX to the late Edward and Annie Kovar Marek. She was a member of the Six Mile Assembly of God.

She is survived by her sons, Gary Kemper and wife Carol, and Darrell Kemper and wife Dusty; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Gregory F. Kemper; daughter, Carol Ann Kemper; grand-daughter, Dione Marek; brother, George Marek, and her sister, Billy Pfeiffer.

A time of visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, April, 2, 2014 at the Richardson Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at the Six Mile Assembly of God with the Rev. Johnny Kisiah officiating. Burial will follow at the Six Mile Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Gary Kemper, Jr., Greg Marek, Ronnie Pruitt, Jeffrey Kemper, Jarred Sewell, Jeremiah Johnson, and Jesse Dakota Marek. Honorary pallbearers will be David Clemons, David Williamson, Joe Campos, Vance Navarez, Stephen Moore, Jr., Christopher Kemper, Colby Marek, Gordon Pfeiffer, Peter Pfeiffer, Curtis Brothers, Larry Marek, Christopher Clemons, Nathan Wooldridge, and Ronnie Joe Pruitt.

Memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of South Texas at 605 E. Locust Ave, Victoria, TX 77901.
