He is survived by his wife, Esther Padron Mendoza; daughters, Norma Reyes and husband, John, Leticia Mendoza; sons, Ramiro Mendoza, Rene Mendoza and wife, Gina; sisters, Dora Longoria, Vickie Vasquez, Carmen Arredondo, Aurora Castro, Lupe Olivarez; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Jesse, Antonio and Israel Mendoza.
A Rosary will be held Monday, October 6, 2014 at 7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.
