Thank you so much to ALL family and friends who prayed us through mom's illness and her last days. It has been a very difficult journey, but as always, God teaches us so much during those times! I could make a long list of blessings that have already been realized from this trial, and I know there will be even more as time passes. I had never even heard of Lewy Body Dementia before mom's diagnosis. I urge everyone to educate themselves so that you can recognize early signs of this cruel disease that often goes undiagnosed, especially in early stages. I said from a very young age that if I could only be half of the mom that my mother was to me, I would have accomplished a lot. Her unconditional love, kindness, and work ethic are her legacy that her children can only hope and strive to live up to. We are so thankful to so many, and there are so many whose lives she has touched. Please know that she truly loved you back!

I am so sad that your mom has gone yet her being with Jesus is so wonderful. From the time, before , we were married, she was always so kind to us. She always had something kind to say to us. Her kindness and Love was not conditional. She sincerely cared and loved other unconditionally. Knowing Jesus as your Lord and Savior, you will get to see and be with her again. Yet, on this earth there really are no words that can ease the hurt of her passing other than she's with Jesus. If and when you need us, please let us know. We will do what we can. Much love to you and your whole family.

Ima Roberts was such a special lady. I never saw this lady get angry at anyone. She always had a smile for all. Years ago, when I was a young mother, she took me under her wing and we took off. Our kids were in school together, so ima showed me what to do. Brownies, room mothers, PTA, Sr. Breakfast....what fun we had. So glad she was in my life. She made me enjoy our kids school days with gusto! She was smiling, even when she wasn't trying to smile!! Recall the days when Judy would come over to visit. Such a sweet girl. So sorry to lose this lady. She will be missed! ❤❤💕 Hugs to the kiddos.

Your mother was a beautiful caring woman. I occasionally ran into her at the grocery store, walking at the birdwalk and at the ymca. She was always so cheerful when we visited. She had a way of brightening my day. I’ll miss those opportunities to see her. I pray for God’s peace and his loving comfort for all of you, Janice, Jeannie, Judy, and Randy.

Ima was the most precious person I’ve ever met, she brought a smile to my face everyday that I saw her. She always loved to sing, and she loved getting her nails painted and watching movies. I will miss her so much

She was one of my first bosses at the Whitecap restaurant. She was always SO classy with hair and makeup just so. She made a lasting impression on a seventeen year old greenhorn. Rest.in peace, sweet lady.

I remember Mrs. Roberts as a child growing up in our neighborhood in Port Lavaca. She was kind and so sweet. My prayers and sympathy go out to her family.

Mrs. Roberts was one of the first people I had the pleasure of meeting when I came to work in Port Lavaca. She was absolutely the sweetest lady, and ALWAYS had a hug for me every time she saw me. She would ask how I was and follow up by asking about my kids and was always shocked when she would ask how old they were now........time was just going to fast, she would say. I was so sad to hear when she got sick and when Judy called the funeral home with some questions to learn that her time with us was drawing to an end. I will miss those hugs and that beautiful smile she had but OHHHH, how blessed I am to have been graced with her friendship. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family and many friends.
