Lynda Jo Davis

Lynda Jo Davis, 73, of Port Lavaca passed away April 2, 2018. She was born February 9, 1945 in Corpus Christi to Joe and Lyndadean Dowdy. Lynda was an active nurse from 1989 to 2009. Lynda loved ICU nursing and her caring nature made her particularly suited for home health as well. To this day, her children still have patients and families telling them that they loved Lynda and how comforting she was to their ailing family members.

She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Griffin (David); sons, Keith Vickery (Kathy), Kenny Vickery (Debbie), Kevin Vickery (fiancé, Janice), and Kirk Davis; sister, Marcy Warzecha (Glenn); brother, Thomas Dowdy Sr. (DeDe); grandchildren, Heather Mutchler, Ryen Vickery, Bradley Kolar, Hunter Vickery, Halston Vickery, Samantha Goss, Denis Vickery, Greg Griffin, Austin Watts and Molly Jo Griffin; nephews, Matthew and Patrick Warzecha; and 7 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 4, 2018 from 5 - 7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Olivia Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Matthew Warzecha, Ryen Vickery, Bradley Kolar, Hunter Vickery, Halston Vickery, Austin Watts, and Greg Griffin.

Honorary Pallbearers are Denis Vickery and Patrick Warzecha.
