Matilda C. Longoria

Matilda C. Longoria, 88, of Port Lavaca passed away December 23, 2023. She was born July 30, 1935 in San Diego, TX to Blas and Olivia Garcia Cantu. Matilda was a retired Home Health Nurses Aide and Caregiver for Crossroads Home Health.

She is survived by her children, Debra Taylor (Daryl), Wilbert L. Dybala (Maria), Loretta Guzman (Augie), James Williams and Laura Venegas; and she was blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert A. Dybala; second husband, Rudolfo R. Longoria; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Williams; parents; and grandson, Jarrett Paul Parker.

A rosary will be recited Friday, December 29, 2023 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Gulf Catholic Church followed by mass at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Port Lavaca Cemetery.
