Mitch Edwards III, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2022, due to a long battle with congestive heart failure. Mitch was born in Bryan, TX on September 18th 1947 to the late Mitchell Edwards, Jr. and Helen Gibson Edwards. He was the first born of five siblings. He was a father of two and a devoted husband to Doreen Edwards. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, a retiree from telecommunications and served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam war. He enjoyed being on the water with his friends and family, as well as being an active member of the local VFW in Port Lavaca, TX. He lived on Alamo Beach with his wife, Doreen and their dog, Dixie. He leaves behind his wife Doreen; son, Mitch Edwards IV and wife, Jennifer; daughter, Nickie Tritico and husband, Tony; grandchildren, Tripp Morris, Mitchell Edwards V, Emma Morris, Myley Tritico and Paisley Tritico; brothers, Peyton Edwards, Vernon Edwards and Timmy Edwards; and sisters, Joanne Edwards and Karen Edwards.
