

Anna M. Marquart, 91, of Countryside Lakes in Port Orange FL passed away February 12, 2019. Born September 1, 1927, Anna was born to Matthew & Rose Perito in Crestline, OH. She married her high school sweetheart, Paul Marquart, in 1951, and out of their union, raised four children: Melissa (Ray) Wade, Vicki (Doug) Bolas, Jon (DeeDee) Marquart, and Steve (Donna) Marquart. Relocating to the Daytona area in 1957, Paul and Anna enjoyed over 53 years of marriage, until his passing in 2005.
A woman of many talents, Anna assisted her husband in running Lopez Stone of Northeast Florida, later known as Lopez Aluminum, and enjoyed numerous hobbies: sewing, tennis, golfing, gardening, and traveling – both the continental United States and abroad, visiting British Columbia and Spain multiple times. Beloved by many, Anna leaves behind her four children, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, two sisters: Josephine Long and Frances (Lou) Baldasare; two sisters-in-law: Pam (John) Boals, and Lois Perito, along with multiple friends, nieces, and nephews. She was met in Heaven by her husband, Paul; four brothers: John Perito, Tony Perito, Joseph Perito, and Matthew Perito; and a nephew, Anthony “Tony” Baldasare.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 23rd at 9:00am at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 4675 S. Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange FL with a reception afterwards.
