David M. Sexton, 73, of Ponce Inlet died peacefully at home October 10, 2025. The youngest of three boys born to Frederick and Nathalene (nee Drouin) Sexton, David was born in Norwood, MA, and moved to Volusia County in the early 1990’s from Medfield, MA, where he had been a part-time police officer, ambulance driver, and EMT. Prior to moving to Florida and starting his own business with his brothers, David obtained his associate's degree in Aeronautical studies. At Sexton Sales, he was responsible for the building and repairing of computers.
After the closure of the business due to the economy, David worked for the Hilton Hotel (formerly Adam’s Mark) for almost 16 years as part of the night crew, focusing on cleaning and maintenance. Retiring after his mother’s passing in 2016, David spent his remaining years with his brothers, enjoying traveling and music, as he had been musically inclined in his youth.
Having been greeted in Heaven by his parents, older brother Paul and several aunts and uncles, David will forever be remembered by his remaining brother Gene Sexton and many cousins. David has been laid to rest in Volusia Memorial Park, Ormond Beach FL.
