Joseph W. Finley, Jr., a native of Toms RIver N.J.,died peacefully at his home in Daytona Beach, Florida December 27,2017. He was 91 years old. He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years,Helen, and his 3 children, Janice,Patricia, and Joseph along with 4 grandchildren,Katherine,Kelly,JoEllen,and Joe along with his sister, Caroline E. Kelaher. After serving in the Navy during WWII, he returned home to graduate Cum Laude from Monmouth College in 1962. He was President of Finley Fuel Oil,Inc. An avid private pilot with VFR and IFR ratings as well as an expert pistol shooter for which he received over 100 medals, as well as an avid golfer. He will be remembered for his love of family and his sense of humor. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family and all who knew him.
