Louis Vicent Limauro

Louis Vincent Limauro, age 92, passed peacefully after a long Illness on Monday, August 24, 2015 in Ormond Beach, FL, 2 months from his 93rd birthday. He was born in Lynn, MA, son of Josephine (DiAntonio) and Harry Limauro. Louis attended Bentley School of Accounting and Finance from 1940-1942 and honorably served in the U.S. Navy from 1942-1946. During this time he met his wife the former Jane Lydon and they married in Saugus, MA in 1945. They celebrated their 61st anniversary before Jane passed away in 2006. Participating in the Navy’s V12 program, Louis continued his education graduating from Harvard University, class of 1947. After graduation he joined Liberty Mutual Insurance Company where he progress from staff accountant to Vice President, Senior Vice President, and Executive Vice President by his retirement in 1987. His lifelong recreational interests were construction; including building 2 vacation homes in NH, boating and golf. He is survived by his sons; John ,Novo Hamburgo, Brazil, Stephen and his wife Barbara, Ormond Beach, FL and David and his wife Cynthia, Durham, NH , sisters ; Adelaide Emmett, Peabody , MA and Lenora Richards, Deltona, FL; grandchildren; Jason ,Christopher, Lauren, Lindsay, Matthew, Daniel, John Jr., Mark and Anthony and great grandchildren; Parker, Zoe and Emma. Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by his sister Claire Lebrun and brothers Harry and Rudolph. At the family’s request services will be private.
