

A celebration of life for Margaret Kinsinger Barton, 92, known to her friends as Peg, who passed away on Monday, May 9, 2011 at her home in Flagler Beach, will be Saturday, May 14, 2011, 1:30 pm at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 4815 Clyde Morris Blvd., Port Orange.
Peg was born in Troy, Ohio where she was a high school cheerleader, who met and married her Football sweetheart. Peg worked at Hobart Brothers and was a bookkeeper for Transit Department of Altman Mills in Troy, OH. She moved to the Daytona Beach area, with her family, in 1954.
Peg was a Cub and Girl Scout Leader. She was active in the Ortona Elementary P.T.A., president of the former Alamanda Garden Club. Peg and her husband, Don, operated a local motel in Ormond Beach. They also owned Ken-Ann Restaurant on Seabreeze Blvd. in Daytona Beach, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Donald C. Barton.
Peg leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving children; Lynn (Chuck) Robb, Kathy (Buzzy) Tarrance and Don (Beth) Barton; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129.
