Morris B. Richardson

Morris Brickey Richardson 89, was born August 5, 1923 in Earling, WV and passed away Nov 22, 2012 at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona Florida. He served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1943-1946 in WWII where he was awarded a Purple Heart for his service in France. He retired civil service as a Maintenance Supervisor and also served as Fire Chief at Walter Reed Army hospital annex. Morris will be remembered as a loving and devoted husband father and grandfather. He loved his family and his compassion to help those in need was amazing and he will be missed terribly. Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his parents the late Troy Lewis and Mary Elizabeth Richardson and a daughter Sandra Lee Newborn. Survivors include his loving wife Mary Barnack Richardson; sons George and Karen Richardson of Thomason, GA, Gordon and Rebecca Richardson of WV; daughters Sharron Dunning of Roundrock, TX and Lynn Silver of Roanoke, VA step children William and Karen Barnack of West Springfield, MA Donna and Robert Seamon Dunwoody, GA; Bart and Jennifer Barnack Port Orange, FL and Douglas Patton of Canton, OH also several grandchildren an great grandchildren. A memorial service will be Monday, November 26, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church of Daytona Beach, 118 S.
