Natalina, the youngest of 7 children, was born in the small town of Torre di Ruggiero in the region of Calabria, Southern Italy where she married Anthony (Tony) Pascale in 1952. Natalina and Tony moved to New York to be close to Tony’s family and then to Daytona Beach in 1958 to escape the harsh winters. Port Orange was home for many years as they raised their 6 children. Eventually, Natalina relocated to her cherished condo of 40 years in Daytona Beach Shores.
Natalina was a homemaker and, for many years, a caregiver in her home to babies, children and the elderly. Later in life, Natalina became an avid tennis player and immersed herself in the world of ballroom dancing.
Natalina was preceded in death by Tony in 2001. She is survived by her children: Marta Pascale, John Pascale, Mary Pascale, Larry Pascale, Michael Pascale and Stella Pascale Lenhart. Natalina adored her 12 grandchildren and her 9, soon to be 10, great grandchildren, and they adored her.
Natalina was a devout Catholic worshipping at Epiphany and Our Lady of Hope over the years.
Natalina’s Celebration of Life will be held at Volusia Memorial Funeral Home, 4815 Clyde Morris Boulevard, Port Orange, on Saturday, August 6, with visitation from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. and the service beginning at noon. A funeral mass will be held in her honor on Saturday, August 13, at 10 a.m. at Epiphany Catholic Church.
While Natalina loved flowers, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Halifax Health Hospice, to whom we are forever grateful for the loving care she received in her final days.
