

Norman C. Janssen, Norman was born April 14,1930 in Woodward, OK. He met the Lord for his greatest fishing adventure ever, June 4, 2012. A thoughtful man of determined strength and dignity; with semi quiet opinion and strong conviction that guided his life. He was devoted to family and a forever kind friend. He had the patience to share his love of fishing with so many. Norman was one of the originators of the Sonic Drive-In Chain and he opened the 3rd franchise in Enid, OK. He was a devoted husband to his loving wife, Lydia, of 42 years. Also surviving are his children, Randy Janssen, Carla Rueff, Charlet Bachuss and Debbie Bingham and step children, Angela, Michael and Joseph Stephens; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held 11:00 am, Friday, June 22, 2012 at Jacksonville National Cemetery with full military honors. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. June 25, 2012 at New Life Church located at 5231 S. Nova Road Port Orange, Fl In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in his memory to Hospice.
