William H. Reed, 75, of Port Orange, passed away on April 4, 2010 at Halifax Health Medical Center in Daytona Beach, FL. William Reed was born on August 18, 1914 in Cooperstown, NY to Hiram and Frances (Thayer) Reed. He retired after over 30 years as a Mechanical and Electrical Engineer for the US Government. He graduated from Syracuse University. In 1980 he moved to this area from Arlington, Virginia.
He enjoyed gardening, and volunteering his time at his church.
Survivors include his loving wife of 68 years, Clara; and a nephew, Henry Reed.
Memorial Donations may be made to All Saints Lutheran Church.
