

Balmain was born in Jamaica, West Indies. He had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past seventeen years coming from Queens, New York.
He served in the United States Air Force. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jennifer Bagnall.
Prior to retirement, he worked 40 years at Ogden Aviation at JFK Airport in New York. He was a Charter member of All Villages Presbyterian Church and also a member of Treasure Coast Mustang Club.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Juanita Comrie; two daughters, Marcia Comrie Mandel; Lisa Comrie Brown; two brothers, Dr. Bernard Comrie and his wife Dr. Akiko; Richard Comrie and his wife Hazel; one sister, Angela Fleming; two grandchildren, Brandon and Zoe; and many cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, July 15, 2016 at All Villages Presbyterian Church, 1550 SW Heatherwood Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986, Tel (772) 873-9280.
Inurnment will follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery, 2200 SW Del Rio Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953.
