Gregory William Knapp

Gregory William Knapp, 67, of Port St. Lucie, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Treasure Coast Hospice residence in Ft. Pierce, FL. Gregory was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He had been a resident of Port St. Lucie for the past seven years coming from Oak Creek, Wisconsin. He served in the United States Marine Corp during the Vietnam War. Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years, Mary Knapp; two sons, Matthew Knapp, Joseph Knapp and his wife Jenna; two brothers, Anthony Knapp and his wife Patricia, Dennis Knapp and his wife Tracy; one brother in law, Jay Thom and his wife Dorothy; one grandson, Brenton Como; several nieces and one nephew. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Aycock FH-Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel, 1170 SW Bayshore Blvd., Port St. Lucie, FL 34983, Tel # (772) 879-9300. A Funeral Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 am, Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 2330 SE Mariposa Avenue, Port St. Lucie, FL 34952. Burial will follow at 1:45 pm at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33467.
