She was a beloved mother to two children, Deborah and Ed but mother to countless individuals in our family circle and anyone who needed a mom. She was grandma to three grandchildren Danille, Bianca and Marco and great grandmother to Olivia, and Lucy.
Sylvia was predeceased by her Mom Mercedes, brother Charles and great-granddaughter Lucy. She is survived by her devoted husband of 70 beloved years Edward, her son, daughter, grandchildren, great grandchild, niece, nephews, brothers and sister, son and daughter in law.
Sylvia had a zest for life and a deep appreciation for its simple joys. She loved to travel and explore new places, always exhibiting a spirit of adventure. She found joy and calm in knitting, crocheting, crafts, and painting, and brought music into her home and heart by playing the piano and organ. She had a love for all things Disney World, delighted in the wonder and magic it brought to her loved ones.
Beautiful inside and out, Sylvia’s presence lit up every room she entered. Her legacy of love, strength, and compassion will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Her kindness radiated through every aspect of her life whether she was offering a comforting word, a warm embrace, or her time and talents to those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A visitation for Sylvia will be held Friday, July 11, 2025 from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM at Aycock at Tradition, 12571 Tradition Parkway, Port St. Lucie, FL 34987, followed by a funeral service from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
