Born in Brooklyn, New York in 1927 Mr. Falletta later grew up in Palermo, Sicily. He returned to Brooklyn, New York at the age of 20 where he met his wife Josephine. After raising their family and retiring, they moved to Port St. Lucie over 27 years ago.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving his country during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He took up a career as a furniture maker until his retirement.
Mr. Falletta was of the Roman Catholic faith.
He is survived by his two daughters; Josephine Buono (Carmine) and Frances Franco; grandchildren Carmine Buono, Thomas Buono, Victoria Franco and Nicholas Franco; great-grandchildren, Michael Buono, Ava Buono, Christian Buono and Ella Buono; along with his sister, Giustina DiCristina of Palermo, Italy and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Falletta was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Josephine Falletta and his two siblings.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 4:00-7:00PM at Aycock Funeral Home, Byrd, Young and Prill Chapel in Port St. Lucie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on June 6, 2018 at 11:00AM at St. Lucie Catholic Church in Port St. Lucie with entombment to follow at Rolling Oaks Cemetery in Port St. Lucie, FL.
