

On Monday June 19, 2017, after years of failing health, Enos passed away peacefully at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough. He was comfortable, pain free and had continuous care and support from family, friends and medical staff.
Born November 7, 1936 in Manchester Jamaica to Clifford and Viola Bramwell Thomas, Enos attended Waterloo Primary School and High School. He traveled to Mandeville Jamaica where he learned to cook. After many years working as a chef throughout Kingston Jamaica, he left Jamaica to become a head chef. For nearly 20 years of his life as a chef on a few different cruise ships; where he spent a lot of his time dancing, joking and developing life-long friendships. He settled down in Maine, with his wife Marie and had many of his friends and family joining him there. Enos and Marie's home became a community home for one and all. People would stop in on their way to and from work, week-ends and holidays for a visit.
Enos is predeceased by his beloved wife Marie Fulcher-Thomas; his parents Clifford and Viola (nee Bramwell), brothers Roderick, Ferdie, Aston and sister Myrtle. Survivng him are his children: Delroy, Georgette, Carla, Mark, Taunia, Margaret, Donna, Pam, Rochelle, Yvonne and their significant others, brothers: Renford, Cecil, Donald and their significant others. Sisters Enid, Esmine, Avis . Beloved Grandpa and Uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Enos was entertaining and full of life, love and laughter, all the way to the end. As the saying goes, "Every contact leaves a trace". If you have had any contact with Enos, you would know and you would remember.
Friends and family are invited to attend a time of visitation on Saturday July 1, 2017 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM in the Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home 199 Woodford St. Portland, Maine. Following visitation, a funeral service will be held at 12:00PM in the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at Forest City Cemetery in South Portland, Maine with a reception back at the funeral home following committal services at cemetery.
