Helen T. Bair

Scarborough- Helen T. Bair, of Westbrook, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2014. The daughter of Edwin and Marguerite (Patnaude) Thurston, she was born on January 12, 1919. She graduated from Deering High school, and worked for 25 years for George Washington University in Washington, DC. After retirement she volunteered at Maine Medical Center.

She was predeceased by her husbands, Charles Franklin Weathington, and Robert Bair, as well as six siblings.

She is survived by her son Charles Stephen Weathington, and his girlfriend Irene of Paradise, CA her niece and caretaker for the past 15 years, Diane Conley and her husband Stephen, of Westbrook, and many other nieces and nephews.

Helen’s family would like to thank the staff of Gosnell Memorial Hospice House for their loving care and support to her and her family.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Wilde Memorial Chapel in Evergreen Cemetery, Stevens Ave., Portland. Arrangements are under the care of Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland.
