Portland- Jose (Eddie) Eduardo Pineda, 63, of Harris Avenue, passed away on August 26, 2014 at Mercy Hospital in Portland. He was born in Guatemala on January 7, 1951. He came to the U.S. in 1976. Eddie later began working at Deering High School in Portland where he was employed for 31 years.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria Pineda; his sons, Eddie, Jonathan, Carlos and Joseph; four grandchildren; 2 step-children, April and Arthur. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
Visiting hours will be held from 9-11 am and 3-5 pm on Sunday, August 31, 2014 at Jones Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland. A graveside service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at Evergreen Cemetery, 672 Stevens Avenue, Portland.
