Teresa “Terry” Ann Alden, age 67, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025 in Portland, Maine. Recently from Hallowell, she resided at Danforth Heights in Portland’s West End for 40 years where she lovingly raised her two children. She was a die-hard Boston Celtics fan, updating her family and friends with highlights and scores after each game. She was known for making daily phone calls to keep tabs on her family. She was the glue that held her family together.
Terry was pre-deceased by her mother Margaret L Russo, father Stephen E. Dorsey, brother Stephen E. Dorsey Jr, sister Linda J. Everest, daughter Michelle L. Alden.
She is survived by her husband Phillip D. Alden, son Michael D. Alden, sister Patricia Montgomery, sister Deborah Dorsey, and her four grandchildren Nikita, Jackson, Elizabeth, and Mackenzie. Terry will be greatly missed by all.
Family and friends are invited to attend a time of visitation on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 2-3 PM at Jones, Rich & Barnes Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St. Portland. A service will follow at 3:00 PM.
