Aaron Jackson SR., (AJ) was born June 5, 1935 to Aron and Margie (Washington) Jackson. His father died when Aaron was 10 years old, and he had to drop out of school in the fifth grade to help his mother support his younger siblings. Aaron's life changed forever when he met the love of his life, Melvenia at the age of 16 years old, and a year later they were married on July 7, 1952. He had a fully furnished house ready for him and Melvenia to move into. Out of their union they had 10 children and raised 2 of their Grandchildren. Aaron attended St. Luke Memorial Church Of God In Christ for about 40 years where he served as Deacon under the leadership of Pastor Roosevelt Thomas and Pastor Leanell Adams. He enjoyed fishing and he loved to work on cars. He was always eating silverbells (hershey kisses) or jellybeans. His lack of education did not prevent him from providing for his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and a sister.
