Barbara Ann Hassell

She was born November 19,1943 to the parents of John and Eleanor Carney.

Barbara attended St Mary Magdalene Catholic Grade School, St Mary's Academy for three years, before graduating from Marycrest High School in 1962.

Barbara worked for the Salvation Army as a ticketer. She also took a nurse's aide course at Good Samaritan Hospital after high school.

On August 14,1969 Barbara married the love of her life, Donald Hassell Jr. They were married for 32 years until he preceded her in death in 2001. She was a wife, mother and homemaker.

Barbara is survived by her four children: Michelle Gowing, Donald Hassell, Charity Ramirez, Colleen Hassell. She also survived by her seven grandchildren, one brother Tim Carney, several cousins, nieces and a nephew.

She loved to write letters and copy poems to send to anyone, who she thought would enjoy them.

She also loved to spend time with each of her grandchildren.

Barbara will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday January 28,2022 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11:00 am

Rosary will be at 10:30 am.
