Cindy Archibald

Cindy was born November 25, 1972, in Saigon, Vietnam to Trung Luong and Thao Nguyen. She graduated from Grant high school in 1991 and attended college at Portland State University. After graduation, Cindy continued her education earning her MBA.

Cindy loved spending time with her family, traveling to new places and exploring what each place had to offer. She often could be found sitting in a cozy corner snuggled in a blanket reading a book or in the kitchen trying out new recipes. She was all about finding new adventures and persuading others to join her. She did everything impulsively and whole-heartedly put in 150%. As a perfectionist, she focused on doing things right and always outdid herself. She devoted herself to her family, health, and work. She woke up at 4:30am every morning to attend crossfit than came home to have breakfast with her kids before starting her busy day. She loved life and cherished every second she had left in this world to the fullest.

Cindy is survived by her father, Trung Luong; mother, Thao Nguyen; brothers, Justin Luong, Vinh Luong, Don Luong; sister, Khanh Blackhurst; children: Benjamin, Brandon and Madison Lee; spouse, David Archibald; step children: Evan and Andes Archibald; dog, Ruger; 8 nieces and nephews. Cindy spent her recent remaining months in the company of both of her husband and children creating as many amazing memories as possible.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th, 2015, 10am, at Beaverton Foursquare Church 13565 SW Walker Road of Beaverton, Oregon.
