Clayton was born on November 10, 1994, in Eugene, Oregon. Clayton showed a natural talent for drawing and had an appreciation for sports. He was an avid fan of watching football, basketball, soccer, hockey, and horse racing. He loved to spend time analyzing or “researching”, as he would call it, with friends and coming up with the perfect formula to convert a $5 bill into $1,000.
Clayton worked hard and achieved sobriety over the last year. He quickly earned the respect and admiration of his support team and was looking forward to moving to Idaho to work in the recovery field. He was finally leaning into a career he was excited to be a part of. He had even begun encouraging some of his friends to get sober to experience the life he was living.
Clayton always seemed to win in situations of chance. One time he won a drawing for a Harley Davidson motorcycle from a single $5 entry. This was a dream come true for him as he had already been saving to buy one. He called it his “lucky ticket”.
In his free time, Clayton enjoyed nothing more than taking his dog Izzy out for car rides and snuggling with her on the sofa. He often said that she was the best thing to happen to him and just adored her. She is one lucky dog.
Clayton’s love, sense of humor, and caring nature will forever remain in our hearts.
