Connie was born in Cosmopolis, WA to Ray and Anna Cooper
Sister of Ann Day & Raymond Cooper Jr,
She spent 16 years growing up in Five Rivers, OR
Connie met Garth at a church service conducted for loggers in Five Rivers,
She moved to Portland and married Garth in 1955
After the loss of their first child, she moved to Pacific Grove, CA where Garth was serving in the USA Army.
Connie & Garth returned to Portland where they raised their family.
Connie loved spending time with family, traveling & quilting.
She was a master gardener having a large garden each year.
She was involved with her church, Apostolic Christian Church of America.
In 2006 she & Garth retired to the Oregon coast where they spent their final years.
Service to be held at Skyline Memorial Garden. 4101 NW Skyline Blvd. Portland
Tuesday, July 25. Visitation at 9:30am followed by service at 10am
