David James Connell

David was born in Portland, Oregon into the loving home of Dorothy and John Connell – the youngest of five children. Out of High School he went to work for Tekronix, which helped nourish his inquisitive nature and his drive to understand how and why do things work the way they do. For the past 20 years David worked in a variety of positions as an integral member of the Technical Imaging Systems (Tis Inc.) family. David loved to tinker. He loved working with his hands. He loved spending time at the coast and working on his golf game. And, he loved rooting for his Dallas Cowboys. But mostly, David loved his family. He was family and friends first, and there’s nothing he wouldn’t do for those he loved. We’re going to miss his laughter and his stories.

David is survived by his sister, Debra; brothers, Michael Daniel and Thomas; sisters-in-law, Kathleen and Amy, nieces Ashley. Bridgett, and Lindsay; nephew Zach; and a large cadre of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Donations in memory of David can be made to The American Heart Association.

A celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2022.
