This time of year I think it is fitting that Sandy's memorial and burial be on St. Patrick's day.  It brings tears to my eyes as I remember the nice corn beef and cabbage dinners he use to make us ladies when we were quilting at the church.  Sometimes he would bring the meal to us or if there was only a few of us we would go to his house and have corn beef and cabbage and potatoes.  I was not brought up with this so this year I had planned, in memory of Sandy, to get some corn beef and cabbage and cook them just like Sandy did.

Any time that I would visit Oregon any memory I have of Sandy is of a caring, kind person. I know that he loved Jesus and that Sandy is now in the presence of his Lord and Savior.

Uncle Sandy was a good, kind, and thoughtful man. I will miss him, but he is now with the Lord and with those whom he loved and missed so very much.
