

Donald was born to Alex Such and Hazel Carter in Devitt Oregon on 1/10/1927. He grew up in the Sweet Home and Lebanon area. After graduating from high school in Sweet Home Oregon in 1943, he enlisted into the Army Air Corp in January 1944.He was then discharged from the Army Air Corp in January 1947.Following his discharge, he moved back to Sweet Home to work in the logging industry. While in Sweet Home he was married to Beverly Spangler from North Dakota in 1948. After their marriage they moved to Portland Oregon where Donald attended automotive college. After college, Donald worked for the automotive college for a short time then proceeded to work for Potter Webster. Eventually Donald worked for both Campbell and Gray's Crane as an estimator until his retirement in the early 1990's.
Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing in his younger days and was a member of Al Kader Shrine and was a Past Master of Sunnyside Masonic Lodge.
His family was the joy of his life and he loved spending time at the coast.
Donald is survived by his two daughters Sharene Hembree (preceded in death by his son-in-law Gary Hembree) and Lori Wiser, Doug, Jake Wiser (Katie), and Mary Anne Wiser. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The service will be held Saturday, April 9th, 2011 at 2:00PM at the Gateway Little Chapel of the Chimes.
