Donna Marie Shuey

Donna Marie Shuey was born in her family home on January 11, 1933 to the loving parents of Lloyd and Marie Evans in Hillsboro, Oregon where they lived until her teen years and the family moved to North Portland where Donna attended Roosevelt High School until her graduation.

Donna met her husband Neil sometime in the 1950’s at Tiny’s a local dance hall and it was love at first site. They were married that fall on October 25, 1950 and had many years together until Neil’s passing in July of 2009. They raised 3 beautiful daughters, Diane, Debra, and Cindy. Donna worked at Fred Meyers, then Nabisco where she retired after 36 years. While at the same time building and growing their real estate portfolio. Everyone agrees that Donna thrived as a business owner, mother, and wife.

Donna loved walking, shopping, and travel. Oh how she loved to travel. She traveled Rhine River, Germany, Amsterdam, Paris “oohlala”, and England where she saw Queen Elizabeth the II in her car, then off to Scotland and Ireland and drove all over the countryside with her family. She also enjoyed the ocean and beach. In fact, they owned a beach house in Lincoln City where they loved to have big family get togethers!

Donna is survived by her daughters Diane and husband Dale Raver, Debra and husband Charles Fox and Cindy and husband Randy Ollison. Her five grandchildren Branden & Brandy Syrotchen, Trinity and Kimberly Fox, Tracy and Zach Bullock, Tiffanie & Matt Danley, Mackenzie & Kelley Ollison, and her fourteen great-grandchildren Josh & Tori Syrotchen, Ariel and Ben Trotter, Elizabeth Syrotchen and Josiah Syrotchen, Brooklynn Bullock, Milo Bullock, Tristin Fox, Ben Bullock, Jamison Fox, Jayven Bullock, Easton Fox & Rylan Fox, Quinn Danley, Jaime Ollison, and two great, great grandchildren Addie and Malachi Syrotchen.

Donna Marie Shuey Funeral Services will be held at Finley Sunset Hills Mortuary and Memorial Park located at 6801 SW sunset Hwy, Portland Oregon 97225 on Friday November 8, 2024 at 2pm.
