

Dorothy Lee Thompson Hatch was born December 3rd 1945 to James and Doretha Thompson. She had six younger siblings, Pat, Tina, Jim, Mary, Melissa (Kasey), and Bob. She also has an older half sibling, Lynda, from her mother. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Doretha, and her husband of 59 years, Cline Hatch SR. She is survived by her 9 children, Cline Hatch Jr, Reid Hatch (Cindy Rogers). Corinna Powers (Troy Powers). Shaunna Hatch. Jennie Potter (Greg Potter). Jonnie Donkin ( Hal O Donkin) Betty Light ( David Light Jr) Lynda Donkin ( Wes Donkin) and Errinne Hatch.
Dorothy was born in Provo, Utah and lived in Springville Utah. Her Family moved a lot in her younger years living in Utah, Idaho, Washington, Arizona, California and settling in Sweet Home, Oregon in the mid 1950s. She met the love of her life, Cline, in 1962 at church. After a short courtship, they married on July 20th, 1962. In July 1963 their oldest son was born and in 1984 their youngest Daughter finished the bunch. In 1981, they moved the family to Milwaukie, Oregon. They found their forever home in Portland, Oregon in 1984. They lived in the 72nd house for 36 wonderful years. She proudly retired from Precision Castparts Corp. after over 10 years of service.
Dorothy served faithfully in several areas of her church. She loved attending girls camp and teaching primary. She loved attending the temple and reading her scriptures. She was always willing to make her grandkids apple pancakes or grammas waffles. She LOVED her Grandkids!! She loved her Chevy Novas and taking day trips to the beach. Retirement was filled with more grandkids and Great grandkids. She had 33 grandkids and 25 great grandkids with one due next year.
She was a mother to all who came to her home. She was loved by so many. We love you mom!
