He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and later worked at Oregon Steel Mill, retiring after 35 years. He was a dedicated bowler and gardener, but the love of his life was his pet monkey, Pixie.
Earl is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar B. and Katheryn M. Peterson, and his brother Ben Peterson.
