After leaving Rex Putnam High School in 1997 to get his GED, he attended Universal Technical Institute in Phoenix, Arizona where he earned his Associate of Occupational Studies Degree in Automotive Technology. Ed loved working on cars and taught his children that turning your passion into a career is possible. Despite being born with a heart condition, Ed had a huge heart. He loved widely and deeply, his love for the people closest to him was always palpably obvious. Ed had an excellent sense of humor and was incredibly proud of his big beard. He is, and will forever be, dearly missed by all who knew him.
Ed is survived by his three children, sister, brother in love, parents and countless others including his beloved dog, Blue.
Ed was preceded in death by his big brother David and their grandparents. David and Ed will be reunited on February 28, 2024 at 3 pm at Lincoln Memorial Park. We welcome all those who knew him to join us to pay your respects.
