

Edward L. Reynolds, born on February 3, 1947, in Coos Bay, Oregon, passed away on September 25, 2025, in Portland, Oregon. A dedicated family man and a veteran, he is remembered for his service in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, where he served as a Radar Operator.
Ed spent 30 years as a meatcutter at Safeway, showcasing his dedication and hard work. He also held various positions throughout his career, including taxi driver, tool anodizing company worker, carpet cleaner, employee at Salvation Army, Brewing Co., Elwa Resort, and as a carpenter and handyman. His work ethic was unparalleled, and he took pride in every job he held.
A man of many interests, Edward enjoyed helping others, assembling puzzles, traveling, riding motorcycles, and engaging in outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, and hunting. His love for adventure and his odd sense of humor brought joy to those around him.
Ed is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia Reynolds, whom he married in 1972 at Ross Hollywood Chapel. He is also survived by his sons, Jason and David Reynolds; his grandchildren, Jacob, Daphne, Alayna, and Kaylee Reynolds; his brother, John Charles Doubek; and sisters, Sharon Wilson and Lisa Hughes. His family was the center of his world, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Ed's legacy of kindness, humor, and dedication will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
