Efton Albert Bennett was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma on October 7, 1925 to William and Martha (Carter) Bennett. He moved to Tulsa where he was married while serving in the U.S. Coast Guard in WWII. Efton later divorced in 1953 before moving to Washington state, then on to Portland. Throughout his life Efton lived exactly as he wanted. On November 3, 2015 he died of natural causes in Portland Oregon at the age of 89. He has been laid to rest at Skyline Memorial Gardens, Portland, Oregon.
