G. Dewitt Morgan Jr. passed away July 15th, 2014. He was the son of Granville DeWitt Morgan and Florence Elizabeth Blumenauer. He graduated from Grant High. He then enlisted in the Navy in 1943 and was stationed in Adak, Alaska from June 1944 to March 1946. DeWitt graduated from Lewis and Clark College in 1952. After 25 years, he retired from Sanderson Safety Supply. He belonged to the Beaverton Elks Lodge #1989 as well as the Portland Masonic lodge and V-8 club. DeWitt is survived by his wife Mary Lee; and children: Michelle Grillo (Pete), Jacquee Mattila (Reino) and Cameron Morgan. He was preceded in death by his son G. DeWitt Morgan III in 2013. There are 5 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. A memorial will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2014. Please call Michelle at 503-283-6244 to RSVP.
